SUSIE MAY MUNHOLLAND SCHOLARSHIP
FUND APPLICATION
The Susie May Munholland Scholarship Fund was created to fund the education of disciples for Jesus Christ from the Munholland Methodist Church community so that recipients may go out into the community and transform the world.
These scholarships may be used for legitimate education expenses including tuition, room and board, books, travel related to the field of study, and fees related to course study. They may be awarded to an applicant for post-graduate training requiring formal academic study. They may be awarded to graduating high school seniors seeking assistance with college expenses. They may apply to Junior and Senior high school students who are interested in attending a specific Christian education experience. Awards from this fund may also be made toward continuing educations endeavors such as workshops. They may be awarded to returning students who reapply yearly. Students may be full or part-time.
FUNDS AVAILABLE
1. EMOGENE RYAN KUHN AND THE REVERAND R. LANEY KUHN FUND
The Kuhn fund is in memory of Emogene Ryan Kuhn and The Reverand R. Laney Kuhn.
This scholarship is for the members of MMC, church staff members, or their family members as they pursue studies at an institution of higher learning that prepare them for church work in the fields of, including but not limited to: Christian education, sacred music, or the ordained, commissioned, or certified leadership of the Global Methodist Church which will raise them to the next higher level of ministry.
Tuition and fees may be paid directly to the recipient’s school of choice upon verification of acceptance. Additional expenses may be reimbursed with appropriate documentation.

2. WESLEYAN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FUND
These scholarships are for the members of MMC, church staff members, or their family members as they pursue studies that will potentially lead to a path towards Christian ministry.
The Wesleyan Christian Education (WCE) Scholarship can be awarded to a high school senior or seniors each year who are enrolled in an accredited college or university, and who have expressed a desire to pursue a degree that will lead to professional ministry.
The WCE Fund can also be used for Junior and Senior High School students who wish to enroll in a specific Christian education experience which may help them define personal goals which will potentially lead to a path towards Christian ministry. This can include such things as camps, seminars, ministry trips, etc. The WCE Fund can also be used to support adults who may be discerning a call into Christian service.
