Connect. Grow. Serve. Lead.

Munholland is a community dedicated to making disciples for the transformation of the world by helping people Connect, Grow, Serve, and Lead in the name of Jesus Christ. We have many opportunities for you to connect, grow, serve, and lead, and hope you will join us in this mission!

Connect- Connect with God and others through worship. We believe that when we gather together to worship, we encounter the Living God in a special way as we sing, pray, listen for God’s word together, and experience God’s grace through the sacraments. This binds us to each other, too! We hope that you will feel connected to God and to Munholland through weekly worship and other avenues.

Grow- Grow into who God has called you to be as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Munholland offers a number of ways for us to grow- Sunday School, Bible Studies, Groups, Prayer Meetings, and age-specific gatherings like Children, Youth, and Senior Adult Ministry. We believe that following Jesus means that we are on a journey through life to be made into the image of Christ. It is our hope that every person in our church participates in some group that helps them grow as well as engages in individual practices that promote spiritual growth.

Serve- Serve God inside and outside the church. We believe that service is important both in transforming our world and ourselves. Serving others makes a difference because there are so many needs around us, but it also makes us more like Jesus. “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). Munholland has many opportunities for people to use their gifts to serve others both in our ministries and in our local and world missions, and we hope that every person in our church serves in one area.

Lead- Lead others to Christ. We believe that God has called us to be witnesses in the world, pointing people to the love of God the Father, the grace of Jesus the Son, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. We can lead others to Christ in many simple ways, in our families and workplaces, schools, and even on vacation!
