Make a Difference in a Child’s Life

Angel Tree can be the perfect way to feel connected to others in our community during the Christmas Season. It offers the opportunity to extend the hope of the Gospel to families and for them to feel enfolded in unconditional love. It is also an awesome experience that can be shared by your entire family.

Joseph C. Moscona School and Raintree Children & Family Services (which provides Foster Care and After School services) are the recipient's of the gifts.

The Tags will be available on Sunday, November 17th and the gifts will be due back on Sunday, December 8th.

FILL A SHOEBOX! – shoeboxes will be available in the Welcome Center from Sun., Nov 3. Return to church by Sunday, Nov 24.

VOLUNTEER – spend 2-3 hours with fellow Munhollanders receiving shoeboxes from donors.

DONATE – $10 processing/training per box; $6 to send a child to The Greatest Journey class.

Are you ready for some football? All donors will receive a Clear Stadium Crossbody Bag and a chance to win 2 PLAZA LEVEL TICKETS to a Promotion includes all pre-season, regular season and post season home games. Names will automatically be entered. Drawings will be held 3 days prior to every Saints Home Game.

Every donation earns an additional chance to win. All entries will be valid for the entire Saints season. Winner will be notified by phone and posted on the Ochsner website.

 Please remember to bring a Picture ID & to eat and drink water prior to donating.

Individuals taking medication for High blood pressure or cholesterol CAN donate.

We Serve Weekend

Join us on Saturday or Sunday for a time to SERVE!! Beginning at 8:30 am on Saturday... Coffee, Cleaning and Community!! You may select an assignment from the "Job List" or come with your own project to do to "Clean Up God's House"; complete it and leave or stay. At 10:00 am we will assemble "Blessing Bags" to have handy in your car to give to unhoused community. Sunday will require MANY hands as we provide food and "services" during the St. Paddy's Parade.

St. Paddy's Parade Mission Fundraiser from 10:30 am until 4:30 pm (indicate times you are available). Duties do not require standing. You will be able to sit.

Saturday, March 16th

Sanctuary/Church-wide clean up beginning at 8:30 am. Make Blessing Bags for the homeless 10 am - 12:00 pm Fellowship Hall

Sunday, March 17th

Saint Patty Day mission fundraiser 10:30 am - 4:30 pm (list times you can help)

Sell “Potty Passes”, Monitor The Door/ Hallways, Re-stock/Refresh Restrooms, Clean restrooms,

Help is especially needed at the end of the day!

We are restarting our fun-filled time together with an exciting program led by Tulane Professor of History, Derek Wood. He will provide a wonderful and entertaining talk on the history of JAZZ in New Orleans.

Disciples' Garage Sale

Disciples' Garage Sale

Munholland's Disciple Sunday School Class is again holding a garage/yard sale as a fund raiser, and you too can raise some funds! The sale will be held in the church parking lot, and we are selling spaces (parking space sized) for $20 to other classes, groups, committees, and families who would like to participate and raise some funds of their own. We will run an ad in the paper, and make signs. Donations can be placed in the Copy/Collections room/Old Welcome Center beginning February 4th through March 1st.

If you do not sell everything, you can take it home OR we have a charity organization come and pick up the left over items at the end of the day.

We will try to avoid early-birds, and folks setting up must get their vehicles in and out before 7:45 AM.
