Everyone that registers for choir will be a part of the program, but this is just to help the choir director to assign different singing parts in the songs.

The accompaniment tracks will be emailed to you once you have completed the online registration form. The student will also be asked to read lines from different scenes of the musical.

GET TO KNOW YOUR CHILDREN’S CHOIR DIRECTOR
Mrs. Jolie - Bio
My name is Jolie Trotter! I was born and raised in New Orleans, and I couldn't imagine calling anywhere else home!
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Music with an Emphasis in Worship and Voice from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in December 2022. I am currently studying to get my Master of Music in Church Music with a Double Concentration in Voice and Conducting there as well.
My husband, Owen, is the worship leader and youth director here at Munholland Methodist Church!
My Philosophy of Children's Music in the Church
Over the years, music has always been a part of my life. I have enjoyed singing in choir, assisting in children's choir, teaching voice lessons, singing on stage in musicals, and leading music in church. Music helps us express what words alone cannot.
In singing, our voices are the instruments. It's a part of who God created us to be, and I'm very passionate about sharing a love of singing with my students. Singing in a choir is unlike any other experience that you can participate in life. In choir, everyone has a place. Everyone has the opportunity to share the voice that God has given them, and work together to create something beautiful. My goal in directing children's choir is for my students to develop a well-rounded musical foundation and a great appreciation and love of music, all while talking about what it means to have a relationship with Jesus.
