Munholland Methodist Women meet twice a month on Tuesdays. The first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 AM and the third at 6:00 PM.

PURPOSE OF the munholland methodist women

The purpose of the Munholland Methodist Women is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in global ministries.

 

Each year on the last Saturday of September we hold our White Elephant Sale. This event generates funding for our support of mission locally and globally. Local organizations we support include the following: Clanton Chapel Christian Pre-school in Dulac, LA, Hope Lodge that provides accommodations for out-of-town cancer patients, Community Christian Concern, Operation Christmas Child, and Munholland Youth Mission Trips. Globally, we support Hope for Haitian Children's Foundation.

We provide assistance to Methodist missionaries around the world. In return for our commitment of time, energy and effort, we develop a deeper understanding of mission, grow spiritually and are sustained by the knowledge that we are making a difference in the lives of everyone in our church, our area and around the world.
