‘God is with you’

There are enormous resources that God wants to pour into our lives so that we are blessed and can be a blessing. People who have difficult decisions to make that will affect the lives of others need to be reminded that God is with them and wants to grant them wisdom. As James writes, ‘If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask it of God who gives to all people liberally.’ Others may be going through a dark time relationally and be losing hope. There is no more powerful way to let them know God cares about them than to take a moment, put your hand on their shoulder and pray for their specific need. We can be assured that God hears and will answer our prayers on their behalf.

Jesus said, ‘Ask and it shall be given.’ Just one minute of praying with a friend in need can change everything. Most of all, it is an affirmation that God loves them, cares about them, and will guide them through whatever difficulties they face. People are dying to hear this good word: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Rom 15:13)

Blessings,
