'The Rollercoaster'

spiral tunnel. We rode that thing again and again because, while it was scary, we trusted the engineers. Life with God is similar.

Paul writes in Phil 2, “…continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Life with God is not tame. It is not smooth. It may be scary at times. It can make unexpected twists and turns. It has dark tunnels and loop-de-loops. It is both exciting and scary at the same time. God’s purposes can be surprising, turning on a dime. There is definitely ‘fear and trembling’ along the way as we allow God to take us where He wants us to go. But we can trust the Architect! Jesus invites you to get in the rollercoaster car of life with God. You can watch the ride or be on the ride. Jesus offers – quite literally – the ride of your life!
